Was wondering, I have the 17" Volvo wheels and the 280mm (11") rotors in the front; how much bigger can the rotors be before the calipers need to be switched out? I guess the same question also goes for the rears. For the C70, has anyone have any preference for the type of pads they use? On my Scooby I use to use Axxis pads, but they do tend to powder up a bit on the wheels. Porterfields were a bit harsh on the rotors and EBCs just suck *****. Haven't tried Hawk's HP S or + pads. Or does the Volvo crowd prefer custom ceramics or semi-metals???

 

If you go any bigger at all you will have to either relocate the calipers or go bigger.

 

Ok,are there any recommeded pads forum members prefer for the C70s?

 

Some prefer OEM and others prefer ceramic pads.
Try searching they have talked about it before.

 

NAPA sells a pretty good ceramic pad.

There are a lot of dealers out there offering affordable price of Volvo C70 parts including the ceramic pad. I had mine through the net.
