Default HID Kit conversion

So I was thinking about making the swap to HID lights. And have been checking out prices on the kits. and while looking at one kit it says that if you only wire for your low beams, that you lose your high beam function. Is that true? I'd like to go with the upgrade as the Xenon lights are much easier on the eye to drive with (other car is a 05 TL) but don't think I want to lose my high beams.

Also has anyone else done this upgrade and kept the stock housing? If so can u post some pics?

Default RE: HID Kit conversion

1. Many many people have done this upgrade. Any many many still use their stock lenses.

2. You should not loose you HIGH beam function. That is just stupid.

3. You need to purchase your HID kit from., http://www.sharphid.com/
The owner of the site is a member of Volvospeed and these are great deals on HID kits. His customer service rocks and the fact that on all but one kit you get a LIFETIME warranty makes it even better. Another person on Volvospeed is selling HID kits not for $125 and a few members have bought them. I would wait a while for these kits to be bought and tested. The warranty is only 14 months on those kits. This company is called MyDepots or something like that. So I would go with SHARPHID's if I were you. Spend the little extra cash for the better warranty.
