Hello, I am not new to Volvo but I am new to the forum. Have 2 Volvo's: one is a 2001 S40 and just bought a 2000 C70. The C70 is in good shape but the top needs a little care. Top hasa small tear and the top needs to be sealed(weather proofed,fabric top). Any help would be great. Thanks for having me. Ted

Ted, save 20% of each pay cheque as in the not to distant future you will be spending that cache of money on repairs. You should scroll through this c70 section to find out what the main problems are. Your Volvo is a great auto but the c70's have a ton of issues and much more so in the convertible. At any rate you truly will enjoy your c70 as it has style, comfort, and performance.............not to be confused with great handling.

I might try an attempt at replacing mine over the winter. It does not look like much fun. According to the manual I have, you may have to use a computer scan tool after replacing, to reset the limit switches. BTW if anyone knows a way around this please let me know.
