My dad loves this stupid thing. He came home, put the top up and its latches half way in the up position. One side is locked in the middle and the other is unlocked. I've release the front with the torx and can move it. No clue how to release the middle latch. I've been a mechanic for 7 years and this thing has no information on Mitchel. The top hydraulics guy is useful on youtube but the manual operation is just not working. I followed his advice and it's still just locked. I'd luke to get it completely locked in the front so rain doesn't go in. If anyone would guide me on the phone it would be helpful

I hope it isn't and not broken even more in getting it down!

The best advice is to call Volvo dealership(s) and ask them how to lower the top. Then take the car to a Volvo dealership repair facility that has someone experienced in repairing C70's. You may have to use a flatbed tow truck to do so.
