Take a look at this !!!!! I havent ever thought to post this up but when the switch was replaced it was put in incorrectly by the guy who had the car before me......what a num nuts.

I dont know how to swap it over, Ive undone one screw but it wont come out. do I have to take off the whole door ? are there some instructions for this badboy ?

Even though that is the procedure to remove the panel, I can not remember if the switch is removable by itself without removing the panel. Been too long.

I used a hook tool by the switch and hook it by the button and pull the switch assembly out.

Go in behind the button you will not pull up on the button like closing the window you will pull on the plastic behind the button.

You can get a nice set of hooked style picks at harbor freight. That is the tool for this job.

OK so I have finally got around to it and this is the furthest i have got. I have tried down the side at the little black clips but they wont budge and I dont want to break it off. Will I have to take my whole door trim off to change this silly thing over....

The entire section should have come out not just the cover.

I would use a small flathead screwdriver or pocket knife on the clips on the end of the switches. Taking the panel off is easy though if necessary.
