C70 rear window weatherstrip
I need to replace the driver side rear window weatherstrip. This is the outside weatherstrip. Has anyone done this? Any information to share? It looks to be a little more involved than I can take on so any help, info or comments would be truly appreciated.
Thanks much.

No, I'm still sitting on the part. I made a reasonable repair to keep it in service. This was after the dealer said it would cost $500-600 in labor to do it.. They literally have to take almost the entire rear seat and sidewalks on the left side. I'll just let it be for awhile.
Thanks for your reply, I am wondering if we are talking about the same part because of the price you were quoted.
I need to remove the rubber seal that the window passes through when lowered and raised.
It looks like it should just pull off, maybe after removin a rubber 'stud'
Even at main dealer priced your quoted price for the job seems very steep

Take a better look. Its molded around the front door jamb and Moore importantly the way its molded in around the back end of the seal. You can't just pull it up and out like in other cars. Look on line at a Volvo part list from a dealer or other sources of Volvo parts and you'll see what I mean. I'm a retired aircraft engineer and I have an A&P license. I did a body off bare metal restoration of a Triumph Spitfire, and if I'm afraid to tackle it that's bad. It's not the seal it's all the interior stuff that needs to go out and then back in. On the other hand I don't know what year your C70 is. Mine is a second gen 2008, maybe yours is different
