Default C70 Sun visors

I recently purchased a 2001 C70 Vert . When I received the car I found the driver side sun visor was missing/broken off.The passenger side is there but hangs down and won't stay up. Is this a common problem with these cars ? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Seems common on the convertible from other owner's posts, but non-existent for coupe owners. They are pricey new, but used they are fairly inexpensive.

Default Sun Visor

When I get my 2003 C70 convertible the passenger S/V was broken. If I am not mistaken the convertible visor DO NOT UNHOOK AND

SWING TO THE SIDE WINDOW. I think that is how mine was brokes.
They are VERY expensive new and do show up on Ebay sometimes. You can wrap a little tape to stop the other one from falling down on the little bar on the visor.
I check local Craigs list for people sell parts from the cars.

I have replaced the top front spring rubber mount but didn't realise to put the very large cap and 22mm nut with the strut mount on first and put the strut into the top mount in the car. As a result when I lower the car off the jack there is a small 3-4mm gap between the strut mount and the large round plate. Is there an easy fix for this?
