Please help. This is for my Mom's car. She loves her convertible but at this point we're putting off some work that should be done until we figure out if the top can be fixed.
2004 c70 top unlatches but then stops.
After the top unlatches front motor keeps running until I give it a push helping it open the first few inches then front motor stops and the top opens fine. No problem with closing.
I've tried cleaning and greasing the linkage and gears, everything works fine after that first push.
