Question C70II - How to remove upholstery - repair of lumbar support

Hi,

can anyone tell my how I can remove the upholstery of the backrest of one of the front seats in my C70II? Somehow my lumbar support does no longer work...

Headrest is off, switches as well. And now? Around the backrest everything is sewed so I think the upholstery cannot be opened on any side. The only access seems to be from the bottom side. I can imagine that the upholstery is opened at the bottom somhow and the pulled off towards the top...
But how can I open the upholstery at the bottom? There seems to be some kind of plastic band. Does not look like Velcro nor like a zip...
How can it be opened?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Does your plastic band have hog clips on it?

I have not found a way to really look at the band so far. It is somehow folded into the leather. I will get a mirror or something to have a better look at the band...
