Cleaning top well water drains
These cars have 4 hockey puck size drains in the top well, two in the back:
and two almost hidden ones in the front:
I tried cleaning the front drain by sticking an old speedometer cable into it but it would only go down a few inches without clearing the clog. I had to go in from the bottom which really opened the drain:
You have to remove the fender liner which means you first have to remove the rear wheel but it was no big deal, less than 30 minutes to complete each side. I also used a blow gun from the bottom as a last touch.

RE: Cleaning top well water drains
I have a lot more pressing issues to deal with on this car. The transmission is in limp home mode so it's real fun taking off from stop lights, the top goes down but only goes up half the way or sometimes none at all so I've gotten real good at manually raising it with a power screwdriver, and the ABS and TRAC lights are on so I've sent the module off to be rebuilt. As long as the car stops the rotors are fine for me at this point.
