Default Climate control display bulb out

I am looking to replace dead bulbs in my 98' C70. The climate control has one bulb out and my shifter display is also out. I found a write up on how to replace the shifter bulb but no luck for the climate control. Can anyone tell me how to pull out my climate control to change a dead bulb without damaging my dash? Thanks

If you still have the factory radio, it should be pretty simple. Push in the two tabs on either side of the radio. They are spring loaded and should pop out. Once they pop out, you should be able to slide the radio out. Once the radio is out of the way, you should be able to push the climate control unit out from behind it.

Be sure to have your radio code handy if you unplug the radio.

HTH.

Cheers,

Ted
