I have a 2012 C70 w/rain sensor that works through the rear view mirror. I've been advised there is no mirror with a compass that can replace this.

Has anyone just replaced this mirror with one with a compass, and just detached the rain sensor feature? The compass would be much more useful to me.

 

I have a 12 c70 with rain sensing wipers and a compass. So obviously the option is there. I would think the rain sensor is in that big black thing the mirror connects to.
