I recently bought a 2008 Cyo convertible - very nice car. My question is, the console display panel where temp, radio etc. info is displayed is sometimes black on white background and now is white characters on black background. Is there a way to set this, or is it changing because of ambient light conditions, or??? I just put a new battery in, and we hooked a jumper pack to the cables so I didn't lose my settings, except time, which I reset. When I did that it was white on black, but later I saw it was the other way. I looked through the driver's manual but can't find anything on how to select one mode or the other. Anybody know the answer?

 

Found the answer - it's completely automatic, changes for day/night better visibility. There's a light sensor up on the front of the dash that controls it. Nothing for setting it in the Menu. Now we know...
