Hi a customer of mine bought a 2008 C70 that a tree fell on the convertible roof. We bought a 2007 C70 Hit in the front the same color. We tested the used roof from the 2007 before we took it off and it was operational back and forth. So we changed it over to the one that the tree fell on. Now the top does not operate from the button on the console. And the information center says top malfunction. I tried to get into it with my snap on sulus utra scanner and it does not read it. Any ideas. I have done some reading and i might possibly need a volvo vita scanner to reset it does anyone have any insite on this? Thanks in advance

 

We after asking the question. I figured it out there is a manual override cable that we pulled durring disassebly of the used one. We reset that and it is working now. Just needs some final alignment to work properly every time. If any one needs any parts for their C70 i have a few send me a request if you need anything.

 

My 06 blew a hose. Is there a splice kit to fix it or should I just buy a new hose. Second the info center is flashing top problem and the pump will not start. Anyway to reset it. Third where do I add hydraulic fluid. It has lost some and I need to know where the resovoir is
