I heard that if the coolant temperature sensor is bad it may cause the car's computer to send bad info to the engine so that it runs poorly.
My can will start well and idle well until it warms up and then it will not accelerate and will stall.
The temp gauge works fine(or at least seems to).
Could the sensor be bad and still show the temperature properly??

best thing to do is test the resistance of the sensor - should be 200-300 when cold 2000-3000 ohms when warm...
