Hi,..can someone tell me if there is a reliable replacement for just the console section of my '01 C70 convertible that has a couple of cracks in the simulated wood trim? I have seen the kits offered on the web, but man I sure hate to get something that looks even cheaper than the wood grain that's already there. If someone has indeed purchased one of those stickon replacements,..I'd love to hear how the look, fit over the originals, and hold up in heat....

What really would be nice is an honest to goodness Volvo parts place online that one can order these oddball items from.

I purchased a real wood kit...........not plastic.............and it looks great! It has additional pieces that truly dresses up the rather drab c70 dash and door panels. The match between factory and the after market is amazing.............nary a bit of difference.

I purchased from B & I Trim Product Mfg, Inc.. 800 713 1944. They are located at 5000 Grand Ave., Maspeth, New York, 11378. I also bought a kit for a Mazda from these people and the product is A-1.
