Custom Lip Spoiler

Custom Lip Spoiler
I've noticed that there seems to be a lack of decent spoilers out there in the market for the volvo C70.
I really like the M3 style trunk lip spoiler but I don't think the universal ones out there fit the C70 body design profile.
...so I made one custom that I think blends well with the natural body lines. It's a new design so it's an aquired taste.
Here's a full view from the trunk...
Notice how I shorthened it and blended the top edge to gradually blend into the curve of the trunk
Here's a view from the rear:
I wanted the lip lengthto matchthe nature body lines soit's based on thelicense incavement(?)
Here a full side view...
The more I stare at it the more I love it. I think it's very clean and flows with the C70 body nicely.
Some of my friends think it's a little short...but I think it's matched well with the body-especially since the C70 trunk is rather curvy.
Also, I didn't want just a universal knockoff wing but one that was designed especially to compliment the C70 lines.
Tools: Razors for trimming, (Exacto? knife), file for smoothing and sanding paper for fine touch-up.

RE: Custom Lip Spoiler
I think you did a nice job. Thanks for sharing those pictures. I agree that there are not many to choose from that fit the lines of Volvos. I like that you tooka universal part and made it unique. The final result seems unobtrusive, almost blending in. I guess that means you did a good job. The true payoff will be when another C70 owner sees yours and asks you where you bought yours from and you can just smile.
Did you have to paint the spoiler or did it match well enough?
