the 09 C70 was setting for a week. Original battery is dead. When I put the key in the ignition, the key will not turn to the off/lock position to remove the key. How can I get the key out?

 

I had a tow truck jump the car, he stopped the power, reset something under the hood with the battery and restart the car again. I'm missing what he did exactly but it was super simple and he knew exactly what was needed for the key to be removed from the ignition.

 

He jump started the car that's all he did. When the battery is dead the key will not be released by the SCU
