Default Difficult doors

The doors on my 2000 c70 with 71K are getting difficult to open. On the passenger side you'd swear that the door was locked unless you give it a real hard tug. I'm thinking that maybe with the weight of these doors cause this to happen over time. Is there some adjustment that can be made to help?

Try a slight bit of lube. Also maybe the latches need to be adjusted.

Thanks. How are the latches adjusted?

Try adjusting the latch on the body side.

If you have a coupe, you may find that the top of the window is making contact with the top of the door seal. IE: your windows need adjustment.

r.

I know what you are saying about the windows, but the doors are still difficult with the windows down.

Tech -- the bodyside latches are are screwed in (if I'm guessing right at what you mean). No means to adjust there.

If you loosen them they will slide around a little.
