Maybe try looking with a mirror and flashlight.
Yes space is very limited.

OK, I will try that. Does it sound logical that the two plugs can be plugged into each other? Or do they plug somewhere else and where would that somewhere else would be?

I highly doubt they plug into each other.
Does the red light in the back of the door by the latch work?
Maybe the other one goes to the lock assembly. The lock assembly should have a grey and black plug going to it. One is black and the other is grey.

The red light is not working. The one plug I can see is grey. The key fob is not working as well as the red light on the door, the light under the dash by the hook release (yes, I changed the bulb) and the courtesy lights. The courtesy lights work when the passenger door is opened. So, one plug probably goes to the red light on the door and the other goes to the lock.....Is the lock in the middle or towards the top of the door?

Yes about in the middle.Look from outside where the latch is and it is slightly under that. You might be able to see some of the lock with a flashlight. The plugs go straight up from the bottom.

Tech, I cannot thank you enough! The mirror worked and after some looking around I found the plug receivers. They were exactly where you said they would be. Side by side right above the red door light. It was pure madness getting them in. I am not a small guy so room was a premium. Plus I didn't know which one went where and only hoped that the plugs only went in one way to eliminate mistakes. I got the first on in OK. It was the black plug. The grey one was a real pain. I wound up loosening up the window adjuster at the bottom left hand corner with the 13mm. This gave me enough room to get my arm/hand in there to attach the plug. Now the key fob works and all of the courtesy lights when the driver's door is opened. Again, thanks for all your help and hopefully anyone else out there in C70 land can find these threads helpful for driver door issues!

Im glad you got it all figure out!!! You can see that there would have been no way to replace without pulling the regulator correct?

Tech, you are correct....The whole regulator would need to come out. I wish we had those pics!

Tech, one more question. Does the A-pillar on the driver's side just pop out? No special tools? Is there any particular place to start? Top/bottom? My #15 blew out again after over a week. I think the wirei have cut may be live in there so I want to disconnect it at the source and eliminate this as a potential problem.

Tech, so this annoying #15 fuse keeps blowing out on me. It doesn't happen immediately. It seems to happen after 2-3 days. I have cut the sun visor wire. I have taped the wire that is in the A channel leading down to the dash board. I thought that would do it. Any suggestions? There must be a short somewhere. I am wondering if a lose wire is shorting out if I go over a bump or something. The chime isreally annoying.

Have you checked the other visor as well?
Or maybe on of the little red lights in the door wiring got scraped when it was loose?

that lying cheating bastard! getting my hops up and everything. My g/f is getting pissed now, I do NOT want to take this to a shop to replace. I've replaced a regulator on my BMW before...hopefully i can take some knowledge from that and apply it to the C70. I mean they're both european, they should be the same right? =D
