Default electricl System

Georgeous 2000 C70 convertible has been experiencing major electrical system problems. Started with front pasenger window being inoperable. (Top cannot be put down without windows being fully operational.) Estimated cost of repair at Volvo dealer $1400. Diagnosis: Regulator needs to be replaced. One week after, battery died. Diagnosis: Electrical drain due to short in visor lights. Estimated cost of repair: $480. Next week: ETS light on. Diagnosis: Electronic Throttle system needs to be cleaned. Volvo paid cost of cleaning. Next week ETS light back on, car running rough, lacks pick up. Back to dealer. Diagnosis: ETS needs to be replaced. Volvo paid for repair. Can't help but wonder if electrical problems with window and visor are related. Dealer says no way! Anyone have this experience?

As TECH will tell you.............c70 window regulators are a weak spot in the auto and are expensive! The ETM now has a 10 year warranty/ 200,000 miles.

They are not connected in any way.

Yes they are the weak parts of the car. Both the regulators and the Visiors.
