Front seat headrest

I have a C70 convert. I can not get the front headrest off so I can install seat covers. Any suggestions?? The Vegas sun heats the leather up and sheepskin will be more comfortable.

No way will they be able to be removed. The head rests are part of the "WHIPS" safety provision. Volvo is famous for pioneering the whip lash prevention system. Do not attempt to remove them. Read your hand book or in the absence of having it handy, research the Volvo web site.
