Thanks to all that posted about fixing their AC. Mine didn't work when I bought my1999 last week. I sucked the system down to 29 and tried to recharge it. The AC compressor kept cycling every 3 - 4 seconds. I took the advice I found here and jumped the low pressure switch until I got the pressure up to 42. I was out of freon at that point. I saw mention of 45 for the right pressure. My AC is blowing nice and cold now. I can top it off to 45 psi if need be.
