Default Halogens

Have been looking at those PIAA Extreme White bulbs sold by IPD and their claims of more output at the same wattage used by the old bulbs.
I live kinda in the boonies and do a lot of driving on long DARK hwys. Would'nt mind a little extra light but don't want to pony up for HID's.
Does anyone have personal experience with these bulbs? Is it true or just hype? They want $170 +- for a full set.

IMO if your willing to pay the $80+ for the PIAA Halogens your willing to pay $125-$150 for HID's.

MyDepots on EBAY sells decent HID sets and SharpHID sells great HID sets. I have one from SharpHID and love it. You wont be disappointed trust me.

$117 for the Apexcone 35w kit with one year warranty

Get the $135 kit that is what I have.
