Heres a good question
my 01 c70 auto, I cant find any info on when the trans fluid should be changed. Not in manual, not any where. Since I have 2 year warranty should I just drive the car, and if the trans gets toasted take in for warranty. The fluid is brown, I should be getting a price from my dealer on how much the flush is going to be. He showed me on the board what the charge was for the flush, 175.00 starting. He said he doesnt think mine takes the synthetic fluid. Which Im still up in the air about. Is it possible that a fluid be certified the same 3309 and 1 be conventional and the other be synth. I know, I dont want to open that can of worms
But, basically my dilema is. Pay the dealer for the flush with whatever he puts in. Or just let it ride since theres no mention of when to change it.
I did find a good place to get the Mobil 3309 for 46bucks /case. I dont think I will thou

I'm confused. Why start two threads with the same questions.
