I'm planning on buying a 2007 or 2008 c70 within the next couple of months and I'm wondering what my option are for HID lights and an aux input for an iPod.

I've been looking at various listings and it seems like very few C70s actually come with HID lights. Are the projectors appropriate for HIDs as well or are the projectors different? If it's just a matter of adjusting the projectors then getting a Philips 4300k kit will be easy. If I need to find new headlight housings that would be a bit of an issue (I'd rather not stick HID bulbs in an inappropriate housing).

I've also looked around and found some info about possibly getting an aux input but not being able to then use the Cd changer. I'm not sure what generation that refers to however because I believe the CD changer is in-dash on the 2007/2008 models. Is it possible to get a iPod hooked up to the stock system without using an FM transmitter?

Since the C70 and S40 are related (I think) I've been looking around the S40 section for some answers. From what I can tell 2007 or 2008 and newer S40s apparently have an aux input in the glove compartment. Is this also true for the C70? Someone also mentioned that the 2008 S40 has an aux input and doesn't require you to buy the premium sound system. I can't tell if that is suggesting that earlier models with premium sound have aux inputs or not.

i have a 2008 c70 se lux with the top sound system and this does come with the aux port but its in the centre arm rest and i use this to play my s3 phone through the stereo, as to the hids i don't know.
