Interior color code 1966 - help?!
I just picked up my 4th Volvo - a 2001 C70. The color code is 1966 (Beige) but there is also a 1366 (Beige). I want to work on the interior, but I'm afraid to order parts or dye's that are simply called Beige. Does anyone have any better detail on what to call or how to reference color code 1966. My seats look to be two tone, and that doesn't help me much either. I've scoured the web, and can't find much. I want to order new skins for the front seats, and want to try to re-dye the back seats. But I'm frustrated and expect that the vendors will send 1366 colored parts/dyes.
Were the C70 seats in 2001 common with other models? I see lots of comments and info about V70 and S60 comparisons, but not C70s.
I'm really excited to be back in with another 5MT C70.

I like that deduction, based on the single headrest color. I don't mind changing the style to save some money. There is a big difference between the price of 1366 and 1966. But as you see, the multiple interior codes (and different pricing) throws one for a loop. I guess there is no harm in ordering and 1366 if there is no restocking fee.
