Default How to remove master window switch (2009 C70)?

Hi, helpful people! The driver side master window switch cluster on my '09 C70 seems to have gone bad. The windows all work when I raise/lower the top, the passenger side switch is fine, but the window switches, mirror adjustment, etc. on the driver's side don't. Question: how do I get the dang cluster out? I've pried, looked for screws and secret catches, etc., but it's not coming out. Do I have to remove the whole #@$!% door panel, or am I missing something? Thanks!

If it looks like this

I use a hook tool

and grab between the front two window switches - and pull straight up

I think your photos are of the previous model. I think this is mine (and those loops at the ends make me think it's trickier than just pulling up).

Yes slightly different design than the earlier cars - here's the instructions from VIDA for removal. Looks like the switch pulls up after you remove the bolt cover and securing bolt - then the 4 screws remove the switch from the frame.

Ah, VERY helpful! Thank you! Followup question: it looks like there are two parts to the switch. Any suggestions for how I diagnose which one is causing the failure? Or do new ones come with both pieces anyway, so that it doesn't matter?
