Key stuck in ignition

Key stuck in ignition
I just picked up my 2002 C70 convertible yesterday. First problem I'm having is the Keylock.
Sometimes the ignition key comes out with no problem but twice today it locked in. I've tried starting the car and going out of park and back into park and I've tried moving the steering wheel. Still can't get the key out. Is there an override somewhere that I'm missing. What's the trick? I think this is one of those features we could do without. Any advice??

Key Stuck in Ignition
After quite a bit of research I found the answer to this problem which I guess is fairly common. The Shifter is connected to the ignition by a cable as part of the Keylock system. If the shifter release button does not come out all the way when you go to Park, the key will not come out of the ignition. Spray a little WD40 into the Shifter release button. PROBLEM CURED.
