Low Battery and USB use

Low Battery and USB use
just bought a 2010 c70 and brought home from dealer yesterday. couple of questions:
1. can an ipod be left hooked into the usb port or should i unplug after using each time.
2. the low battery message came on this morning. after reading some threads, i think this might be due to inactivity at the dealer. would a re-charge help or i just have the dealer replace. (they were an hour away so i hate to have to go all the way there)
thanks - any other input into the care would be great - new to volvo.

If the iPod goes off when you turn he car off, then there is no draw. There is no reason to unplug it. Wait 5 seconds or so. The power does not go off immediately. If you drove over an hour to get home, any low battery issue should have been resolved by the time you were home. I would say you have an issue there. Perhaps a charging problem. Welcome to Volvo. I am also new.

didn't notice any low battery messages today. couldn't drive it much as it was raining all day, and what fun is it without the top down. (my son thinks its a transformer)
what about eq settings in the audio - i didn;t notice a pre-set but i adjusted on my own. did you come up with anything special?
