Low oil pressure light?

Low oil pressure light?
I have an occational low oil pressure light coming on. Specifically, the light will come on when I am braking moderate to hard and turning to the right (but not near tire squeal level). The light also take several seconds to go out upon a cold start up.Only 82,000 miles and it does not come on while driving normally. I have checked the oil level and it is fine. Do I need a new oil pump or worse?
