Default Micro switch with seats installed?

Read most of the threads about doing this repair while removing seats. My seat is stuck on the forward position to the point that I can not get to the front two bolts. Any options? Also, in a 2000 C70 vert, do I need to concern myself with the red safety cap to the SIPS which I have also read about. Not exactly sure where these are. Thanks....

RED cap protects SIPS, Side Impact air bag, just be careful not to push on it. Replaced my micro switch twice. Had same problem with seat, had to use torx bit in pass thru ratchet. Used torx bit in vice grips to break loose. Good luck!

Thanks for the help. Don't know if this is funny or sad that I didn't think of this before but am posting in case someone else comes across this.....Just for kicks, I pushed one of the memory seat buttons and the seat rolled back perfectly. The micro switch, which has yet to be fixed, must not be a part of the memory circuit I guess. Anyway, at least now I have the room to pull the seats out.
