New C70 Convertible Owner
Friends,
I have just purchased a 2002 Volvo C70 convertible. It has 85K miles on it. There are a few issues I have with it. The top retracts as it is suppose to, however the lid does not close completely on the passenger side. Also, it has the 3 disc CD player which is not working properly. When I insert the cartridge it reads "disc 3 error". I am wondering if these are major problems or simple fixes that someone has experienced before? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

C70 Convert.
Hi , I brought a 2003 C70 with 79,000 a few months ago. I have a different radio (single cd player) so I can not help there. The convert. top hinges need to be oiled. Do not use WD 40. Get a can of Silicone spray, a large towel and clean and spray. Make sure the can has a little red plactic hose for getting into the hinges. Wrap the towel whatever you plan to spray because it will spray everwhere. Clean off any extra oil. Also clean and lube the cylinder rods.
