New sway bars, original struts...
I'm considering new IPD sway bars lately, but have read a comment about old strut mounts not taking the added stress. I plan to replace the struts/associated parts at about 70,000 miles. 61,000 are on the odometer right now. I only drive 5,000 miles per year.
Has anyone had problems with the old strut mounts not holding up after installing swaybars? I don't want to risk hood damage, went through that 30 years ago, once was enough.
