Oil change intervals
I amthe new owner of a beautiful 2007 C70. We bought the car with 3,400 miles on it. I have read the posts about an early oil change so I will do that in the very near future. Volvo recommends changes at 7,500 miles. I want to run synthetic in the car so I am thinking that changing the oil every 7,500 miles with synthetic is a good game plan. Any one else doing this? Experience? Comments? Thanks.
BTW, I now have a 1993 940 wagon for sale with 190,500 miles. I changed the oil religiously at 3,000 mileswith conventional oil and the engine is still tight, never been torn down.

Welcome to the forums blindbat67.
It's good that you drive Volvo's, if your blind as a bat!
7500 milessounds like a good interval, if your using synthetic.
It's a benefit to Volvo's, having larger oil capacity. You could go longer between, but we know better.
Happy motoring.
