Default Positive bat cable to fuse box

Ok, after the dealer mentioned there is a problem with the cable, I took a look at it. The connection in the main fuse box is black. I cleaned it up as best as possible, we did a drop volt test on it the highest it went .20 milivolts.

But the cable is blackened at little down the insulator and my brother said it was getting hot at the connection.

I ordered the replacement from FCP 46bucks compared to the dealers 90ish. If I had the dealer do it it would cost me around 390.00 which is insane.

What my question is. Is there a thicker gauge cable as opposed to the factory 3 cable setup?
Seems to draw alot of amps thru what appears as too small of a wire.

Are you sure the positive terminal is not bad causing the issue?

The solder inside goes bad and there is a drop though the terminal making things get hot.

pos terminal on the battery? yeah thats good and clean.

The new cable should be in next week.

Heres another one for ya tech. with the 01 c70 both my remote fobs are tanked lost 1 at work no idea what happened to the other.

Can the 01 C remote be programmed at home? or do I need the dealer?

Also, is there a way to set alarm with out the fob like with key?

When I lock the car now with the key, the red light flashes pretty constant but the marker lights dont light as it does with the fobs.

The alarm works when you lock it with the key.

Check voltage output to the battery and see what it is. Then probe the positive cable before the terminal and see what the difference is. If it is more than a 1/4 of a volt difference the terminal needs to be replaced.
