ok i went for a drive last night, and the power windows wont go up. i checked the relay/fuse, its fine. when i click the button, i hear a little wirring noise inside, i dont know what that means. i took the panals off, and everything looked fine, and so...im all out of options. its my brothers car, im just borrowing it, and i love it, but have no anatomy of the volvo. any help??? need to know soon! it will rain soon!

 

almost sounds like the motors decided to take a crap. or maybe the switch did. did you try to put the up at each door?

 

May be a Bad thing.

The window regulators are known to go bad. They are expensive to replace.

I can't really see both going bad at the same time but possible.
