hello all my roommate just bought a 2002 volvo c70 with the 2.3 turbo and it was working fine yesterday but today if you drive normal its fine if you step to the floor it revs to 4000 and just kinda sits there bogging but if you take your foot off the throttle a bit its like it shift and works fine till you hit 4000 rpm againg than it does it again anyone have any info on this

Check transmission fluid level.

 

Also check the turbo intake tubing. Sometimes the intake soft rubber tubing will collapse under WOT (wide open throttle).
