Hi, we bought a Used 2000 Volvo C70 Convertible, It didn't come with keyless Entry, I wanted to buy one, I read it costs over 100 dollars to get it to work.
Does anyone here know how I can program it with near 100% Positive That it will Work. I haven't Bought it yet. I wanted to make sure I can program it first, before I waste my money on the Remote. OH I don't know if it makes a difference I was going to buy it used in case I have to reset it first or something I know NOTHING about this stuff by the way.

I own a 30 C70 conv. with no remotes. I purchased 2 remotes from Ebay that said I could program them myself. Well... I COULD NOT. The closes Volvo dealer is 5 hours away so I had to get a motel room to make sure I could make a early appointment at Volvo.
To save any money see what Volvo wants for just the remotes and then check what you can get on the internet for the same remote. I do not remember what it cost for the remotes to be programed but I know it was a lot cheaper than my Porsche Boxster.

Volvo has a priority program with the remote. You MUST have a remote programmed at the dealership. You can purchase a remote off Ebay to save a dollar or two but the cost of programming it will indeed set you back in the vacinity of $100.00.

There is NO WAY to program your own remote. The search button would have told you this.
