I have a 2002 C70 ragtop. Recently, when I hit the switch to bring the top down (or up), the light on the button flashes and the top will not move. I have to try three or four times before the top will retract or come back up. Not sure what I can do to fix it.

 

That means there is codes in the system that needs to be checked out.

 

Question for you...since the small light flashes sometimes when I try to raise or lower the top, how can I reset the code? Does that have to be done by a mechanic?

 

Yes it does have to be reset by someone who has a scanner that can read it.
