Default Roof liner glue?

The second panel from the front came unglued today. Looks like about 8 pads where the roof panel is glued to the top. What is the best glue to use, and the procedure on re attaching the panel to the top? 09 C70...

I hope someone answers this one. I just had the same thing happen on mine and the dealership wants $300 to fix.

Default roof glue

I did try some 3M Weather Strip glue. It held for about a week, but I guess this New Orleans heat took it toll and it fell again. I'm going to try some HOT Glue next week.

Default Fixed it!

I ended up using Gorilla Glue and it worked like a charm. I had some old crutches lying around and I used that to prop it up while the glue cured. I'm in Houston, so it's hot as hell here too

I ended up using an established headliner repair shop on Orange Ave at Virginia for only $125.00. I didn't kick the sleeping dog on the other two panels.

Default headliner dropped, problem solved

I was going to try some Hot Glue, but I ended up going to PepBoys and getting some plastic body panel push clips by Dorman. Drilled a 5/16 hole (very carefully and in reverse mode) in the headliner where the old tabs were. Pushed the clips through and gently tapping them into the roof panel holes with a small rubber hammer. Going to get some tan paint and paint them. Problem solved. Cost, less than $10
