Default SC901: CD3-error message

I just bought a 2001 C70 convertible. It's a great car and fun to drive. When exploring the CD changer, the CD changer tries to load CDs (which aren't any in) and the magazine pulls out and stays there. In the display the error mesage 'CD3-error' shows up. Pressing the Eject button a couple of times didn't resolve the problem. What can I do to remove this error message?

If you look underneat the tray there is a thin metal tab that is spring loaded. If you push it to the side, you can eject the magazine, then see if the tray will slide back inside. Its possible that the magazine is warped.

Thank you. This helped. Now, that I can load CDs: When loading a magazine full with 3 CDs,the CD changer doesn't play any of them but keeps reloading the magazine on and on.
I tried with a dozen CDs but non of them the CD player was able to play. Is there any reason for that???

Default CD Changer

Mine does the same thing. One thread mentione to remove the radio and slide the top cover off. Watch the CD loading and see where it goes wrong.
I'll let you know if it works.

Had the same problem on my C70.Ended up getting a different unit that works. In my quest of finding a unit that works I ended up with Two working units.I have the extra one on Ebay for sale right now. These units do not like to play home made CD's,but it seems the main problem is with the loading system.
