Default Sporterising exhaust...

Hi, I am looking to get maximum performance and a bit better sound from my beautiful C70 Coupe engine, was wanting advice on the best options for a new exhaust system to provide a better exhaust note and maybe a few more HP,
Cheers.
Mark.

Lets start by getting year and model.

Also what is your budget?

How much power do you want to make?

Do you just want to do a catback or are you willing to do a full turboback system?

If you just want to do a catback system I'd look into a local custom shop that can mandrel bend and have them make you a 2.5" mandrel bent catback to a free flowing muffler like a BORLA or Magnaflow.

If your willing to do a full turboback, I'd also suggest going to local to a shop that can mandrel bend and have them make you a 3" mandrel bent downpipe to a 2.5" to 3" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing muffler like a BORLA or Magnaflow.

You want mandrel bends because crush bent hinders a turbos performance. You also want free flowing muffler because again it hinders the performance. Back pressure on a turbo is not a good, thing but there is a limit as to what you can do. And what I suggested above is a good size to go. Not to mention any bigger and it wont fit.
