Past couple of months the SRS light would flicker on for a couple of seconds and then go off. (not talking about when you start the car) The other night while I was driving it came on and stayed on. Is there a part that has a history of failure that will cause this? Sorry , have not had codes pulled yet

 

Not really could be as simple as a Seatbelt catch or a Seat airbag. Only the codes will tell you.

Had the codes pulled Monday and they told me that the computer had lost communication with the sips system one time in the last 16 starts, that tripped the light. Since it seemed to be a one time thing they just reset the light and said to wait and see if it happens any more. Trips to the garage like that are rare, $0.00, Knock on wood it won't happen again.
