Is the sunroof on a c70 specific to this model or is v70 the same? As of today I've got permanent roof ventilation(aarrrgh) We got lots of rain in the last 48 hrs that acumalated as a 10mm sheet covering my cars, cleaned the Audi, no problem, the coupe snapped the roof glass. 22 yrs of vehicle ownership I've never snapped any tempered glass, but this is my first Volvo. Temp has been hovering around freezing mark. Good for me but bad for Volvo glass.

 

Sorry to say but you can only get a C70 glass.

 

Several other C70 owners have had worse luck and parting out their coupes, seems like one on each forum. I would advise you find the closest one to you since glass is pretty expensive to ship. Bdimag has a sunroof pictured on his 98 part out thread Swedespeed.

 

found one from these guys http://www.jbap.com/ really helpful .125$ the whole sunroof with track. Considering it's 962 cdn at Volvo, I was cool with that price. Just have to pick it up in Ogdensburg (they're shipping it there from Queensbury NY). They were the cheapest other prices were hovering around 300-400.Think they do all cars, and they just don't know what this sunroof is worth.

 

You might have better luck asking on a different forum, like vwvortex. This site is specific to the MKV Golf (2006-2009 in the US). Most members here will have no idea what interchanges with a '97 model.

A quick call to a random import salvage yard might work too.
