Default T5 engine?

I recently purchased a 2000 Convertible C70 HPT and am very, very happy with it, but I was wondering if it's a T5. Nowhere online can I find it being advertised as a T5. The specs on the coupe version of the car labels the engine as a T5, with the same horsepower and 2.3L engine, but does not say so about the Convertible. Anyone who knows anything about this would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe this will help you.

LPT = Low Pressure Turbo, not the T5.

HPT = High Pressure Turbo, T5.

Up until the current model the C70 has never had a T5 designation or badge. The best way to tell is to look at your VIN # If the 6th and 7th characters are 56 then it's an LPT (190 HP). If it's 53 then you have a HPT (236 HP)....
