Transmission Questions
I am working on a 2008 C70 T5,78K miles, and have some concerns about the automatic transmission. There is a slight shudder when accelerating. I don't feel in in first gear from a stop, but after it shifts into second. It feels like a clutch or band may be slipping. Can anyone shed some light on this? What model transmission is this, and are there any common issues? At this mileage and age, would it benefit from a fluid change? Thanks in advance for anny assistance.
The issue you're having with your transmission could potentially be because of worn-out valve parts or maybe, clogged solenoids.
A fluid change can indeed be beneficial. Old or degraded fluid can provoke slipping issues and cause further damage to internal parts. A fresh fluid change could potentially improve shifting performance and prolong the lifespan of your transmission.
