Hi fellow Volvo fanatics...
i need some advice please...i've got a C70 with gearbox problems...i start it when it is cold,, then i can drive like normal for about 2km - 3km...then it starts losing drive until it comes to a complete stop...still in drive, revs up but no drive...then i can switch the engine off, leave it for about 1 or 2 minutes, start it again and drive for 200m the it loses drive again...Anyone have any idea what it could be...? i've checked oil and cleaned filter and OBD brings up no codes...

But, the bigger question is this...the Volvo is fitted with a AISIN 50-42LE 4 speed gearbox...i've got a AISIN 55-51SN 5 speed gearbox...the gearboxes looks exactly the same, the only difference is the connector plugs for the wiring harness...so my question is this...Will the 5 speed box work and how do i convert the wiring to work...?
