Hi, im new to the forum but hear theres alot of knowledgeable users, so im sending this out to the universe in hopes to resolve this issue.

Recently as i was leaving my local auto zone, i got in my car closed the door and it locked in place. Could not open it from the inside, so i climbed over the passsenger very dukes of hazard style and had the same problem from the outside, the sound is there when i try to unlock the door but it wont open and now the lock wont even turn with my key! The panel cant be removed when the door is closed So, after careful adjusting I have been able to wedge the panel back a few inches, just enough to get my finger in where i can feel the components that attach to the lock, but i have no idea what im feeling for or how to unhinge the lock. Can anybody offer me tips or diagrams on how to open this stubborn, frustrating door please- i will do a write up with helpful info when it's fixed so nobody has this issue again.
