I am planning to upgrade the brakes of my 2001 C70 with s60r rotors and porsche 993TT calipers which i already own but i am a little bit confused because i haven't found anywhere an obvious answer that a specific type of wheels can clear that BBK and also not rub.When ihave searched for original pegasus wheels (17x8 or 18x8) which clear that BBK, they told me that will rud. Also i have seen some replica pegasus 17x7,5 et43 which supposed to fit w/o rubbing but they told me that i have to use spacers to clear the BBK which is something that i don't want. You should consider also that the car is lowered about 4-4,5cm with coilovers and the tyre size will be 225/45 17 or 225/40 18. So, what kind of wheels you suggest to use w/o spacers, to clear that BBK and also not to rub?

 

What is your aversion to using spacers? They dont affect the safety or ride quality any. I'm not sure I can answer your question, but I would think you open up a lot more wheel whoices if you get spacers. Even way way way more wheel options if your spacers, change the bolt pattern as well.

Depending on the 'thickness' of the spacers.................you may find that you will need longer wheel bolts also. A bit of a safety issue there!

Pretty much any rim 17 or bigger will rub no matter what unless you buy with a different offset.
